Scott and Lorna Antcliffe, with their two furry companions Rowan and Tess, make a trip to the Cotswolds. They dedicate themselves to discovering the delights of the scenery, as well as the dog friendly cafe culture.

Tess checks out the cottage
Lying just 16 miles south of Stratford- Upon-Avon and eight miles north of Chipping Norton, Henmarsh Cottage is in the lovely, quiet village of Barton-onthe- Heath in southern Warwickshire near the county border with Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. As an avid photographer, The Cotswolds have long been on my photography bucket list but have eluded me, until now. From the moment we booked Henmarsh Cottage, the communication from Suzie and her husband James was clear and we were sent detailed information upon booking about the cottage along with local amenities and things to see and do. With the car packed and Rowan (Border Collie) and Tess (Bearded Collie) in tow, we embarked on our two-hour journey from Derbyshire for a much-needed three-night stay. With check-in at 4pm, we stopped off en route at the picturesque market town of Chipping Norton and opted for lunch at The Old Mill Coffee House & Bistro.
